Plans
Joining trips is always free. The person who organizes a trip decides its plan, and everyone on a paid trip gets the paid features on that trip.
What paid trips add
- AI Trip Copilot that knows your whole trip
- Trip health, issue checks and day-by-day friction scores
- Offline packs for when you have no signal
- Safety intelligence and travel advisories
- Advanced group decisions: ranked and fairness-weighted voting
- Up to 12 people per trip (4 on Free)
Questions
- Do the people I invite have to pay?
- No. Everyone on a paid trip uses the paid features on that trip for free. They only need their own plan for trips they organize.
- Trip Pass or Pro?
- A Trip Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks one trip. Pro unlocks every trip you organize, as long as you subscribe.
- What happens if I cancel Pro?
- You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your trips stay; paid features turn off.
- Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
- Yes. Use Manage billing in your account.

Check-ins & SOS
—TravelOS isn't an emergency service. If you're in danger, call your local emergency number first. These tools tell the people you trust, by email and in the app. They don't send text messages.
Alerts all of your trusted contacts right away. You get 10 seconds to cancel it.
The people who are told if you miss a check-in or ask for help. Up to 10. A contact is alerted in the app if they have a TravelOS account with the same email, and by email if you add one. A phone number alone can't be alerted automatically yet.

Set a time to check in by. If you haven't checked in a few minutes after it, TravelOS asks if you're OK. If you still don't answer, it alerts the contacts you choose.
Give your trusted contacts a link that shows where you are on a map. On the web this only updates while this tab stays open on this device, so the phone app is better for a long trip.
Contacts you've added are sent the link. Everyone with the link can see your location until you stop or it expires.
